The following is a documentary aired on Lincolnshire radio. The presenter, Thomas Phillips conducts interviews spanning the different aspects of political correctness:
Political Correctness>
East Midland's BNP Regional Organiser, Geoff Dickens, was invited to take part. You can hear his contribution at about 11 minutes in, and he has the last word on the subject. Enjoy.
LCV would like to thank Mr. Phillips for refreshingly unbiased fairness, by including Geoff's views, unedited, in his programme

Boycott lying newspapers
"As those of you know who read/take the "Daily Mail" regularly, last Saturday`s (12th Dec.) edition contained a small article concerning our Party Chairman Nick Griffin. This article referred to Nick as an `odious` person. `Odious`, as you`ll all know, means thoroughly BAD, rather like Hitler, Stalin. Ivan the Terrible, Pol pot, Jack the Ripper and Tony Blair, to name just a few. Nick has no `form` whatsoever along these lines, and has never attacked anyone, outside of a boxing ring, that is.
East Midlands press officer John Ryde, at a recent BNP meeting in Leics., urged all of us to boycott these newspapers; why buy them when all they do is write such filthy lies about us and our leaders ? Give `em up !"

British Asian Newspaper
The Leicestershire Community Voice has had some publicity from an unexpected source. A new (launched November 2009), free, monthly newspaper called 'British Asian'. (A contradiction in terms, if ever I heard one. You're either British or you're Asian you certainly can't be both.)They state: "Their bizarrely and misleadingly titled online blog 'Leicestershire Community Voice' (whose community and whose voice exactly) reveals the extent of their activity in the county and their aspirations regionally."
To answer their question: we represent the traditional British community and allow their voice to be heard.
Of course, don't expect them to provide any inconvenient facts about the BNP such as the fact that 1 in 8 people voted BNP in June, or the fact that the Party is represented at parish, district and county level in Leicestershire.
And don’t expect anything other than sloppy journalism; for example, they state that Leicester is a county town. A bit of research on their part would have revealed that Leicester is in fact a city not a county town. No wonder they have to give the paper away free!
And apparently: "BNP supporters...fear and despise diversity but actually have little knowledge or direct experience of it." As someone who was born and spent the first 30 years of my life in Leicester and went to a school where half the pupils were Asian I find this laughable.
Thanks for the publicity though!

Minutes of joint Leicestershire BNP Meeting, 5th. December 2009
The Minutes of the last meeting were read and agreed.
Reports from the four Organisers present...
Kevan told us that the % of people voting for us keeps going up in his area, and that Charnwood will be our target seat in the Parliamentary elections, with BC Kathy Duffy standing there, and Kevan in Loughborough. He showed us the postcard they are putting through doors which has our BNP policies on [as in VoF] and also asked for donations.
James explained that he and Rachel had typed up the membership lists- and showed us the newspaper coverage of his father who has been asked to resign from being a church warden by the Bishop [not the parishioners]. The Bishop then misquoted our policy in a letter to parishioners and James has kindly put him right.
He went on to talk about PC words! He said that those who control our language control our thoughts, and those who control our thoughts control our actions. [George Orwell]. Andrew told us we must regain control over our language, and speak the real truth against their dogmas, and say "sorry Mr Straw, your hands are covered in blood and ours aren't". Question Time has changed peoples' thinking, and opened their eyes.
Questions for the Speaker.
The collection with teas raised £625.58, and 5 dirhams from the United Arab Emirates, and 50 kurus [from Turkey].
The raffle raised £166.
The Auction raised £125, and all these monies were divided between the four groups after expenses were removed.
The next joint meeting will be in March next year.

Leicester: pandering to muslims again
Leicester was the first city to have traffic wardens, introduced by the Road Traffic Act in 1960. Their stated duty is to issue [penalty] tickets for parking offences; approved by some -for instance, for their role in clearing dangerous parking outside schools and discouraging "away-day" parkers from quiet residential streets, as well as those caught in a 'blitz' in September> -and disliked by others, those who have fallen foul of the law, or have appealed against a seemingly unfair penalty.
The law is the law; if you commit a parking offence, you'll get fined £30. This should apply to anyone, without fear or favour.
Which makes the following inexplicable; we have received a call from a very reliable source that traffic wardens have been told that they must not give parking tickets out to Eid worshippers, only warnings. Why not? How are they exempt from the law, or do the same exemptions apply to Christians over Christmas and Easter, or to Hindus during Diwali? No, it would appear that only muslims are above the law in this case.
We always suspected this was the case but it's nice to have it confirmed.
