Update - Election Addresses

Following an earlier article on this blog concerning the delivery of BNP Election Addresses by the Post Office, a lady living in LE8 has contacted us. She says:

"I received mine this morning (Wednesday, 20th May) but I might have missed it because it was tucked int the County Council's magazine "Leicestershire Matters".

I'd advise people to check inside these, and other free stuff that gets delivered, if you've not had yours yet. An awful lot of people don't bother to read these things, and it might possibly be seen as a way for the P.O. to 'dump' the leaflets while still being within the law."

So, Check inside your 'bumff! The Post Office have until this Saturday, 23rd. May, to ensure everyone receives their copy of the BNP Election Address. Don't forget to contact us if you haven't received yours by then.
You can report non-delivery of the leaflet HERE

I received my leaflet Monday 18th May at LE9 also tucked inside the the Leicestershire Mag: along with several other pieces of advertising literature. I assumed this was because it was easier to handle this way for the posties. I do believe that most PO employees are decent and honest workers who would deliver anyway. It's just a few TU cranks who whip up the ill feeling. I left working in industry in 1971 because I refused to tolerate the bullying tactics of the TU. Sadly our present government is full of these rotten people.

Haven't received mine yet in LE7 but everyone round here is talking about voting BNP in the euros.

Reckon we could have a couple of BNP MEPs after June 4.

Still haven't got mine in LE7. Does that mean I can't vote?

The problem in LE7 has been reported, some have had the Address, others haven't.

This leaflet is nothing to do with your eligibility to vote; as long as your name is on the Electoral Roll you are entitled to vote and you should have received a polling card to confirm this. If you haven't, check with the Council that your name is registered. You do not need to take the card with you to cast your vote.

Haven't had mine in LE4. Which council do I contact?

Do not contact the Council about this, it is nothing at all to do with them.
Please go HERE to report it.

I thought the council sent out the cards?

But which council?

You do not need to take a polling card with you when you go to vote, as long as you are registered.
